      <description>Headquartered in Tucson, Arizona, for nearly 45 years, Retina Associates is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment services for individuals with diseases and disorders of the retina and vitreous. The organization is under the direction of Dr. Cameron Javid and several other skilled and knowledgeable ophthalmologists. When he isn’t working with patients at Retina Associates, Dr. Cameron Javid works as a clinical professor of ophthalmology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. 

All of the physicians at Retina Associates hold full certification through the American Board of Ophthalmology. In addition to providing direct patient care, Retina Associates actively contributes to national clinical research trials and educational programs to help train the next generation of ophthalmology professionals. The organization and its various practitioners hold membership in medical organizations that range from the American Society of Retina Specialists and the International Society of Ocular Oncology to the American College of Physician Executives and the Pima County Medical Society.</description>
