The 13 colonies

The British king began establishing the 13 colonies in America, Those colonies are New Hampshire, Massachusettes, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. They found these colonies because they needed more space for their people and wanted to explore a new world.

This was America before they expaned their land throught the 13 colonies and to the Pacific ocean. At this time it was also called the United colonies.

Florida

Alought Florida was nor originally part of the 13 colonies it later joined the 13 colonies after the colonies brought it from someone so they could stop indiain invaision.

Louisiana Purchase

Texas annexation

The United States and Great Britain signed the Treaty of Oregon on June 15, 1846 therefore we got the whole country of Oregon to join the usa.

Gadsden Purchase
