Huxleys creation of a dystopian society in which individuals have no control over their status - both in occupation and economic standing is reflective of the environment resultant of the Great Depression. THis society though aware of tehir lack of choice have no comprehension of fighting aainst the system and are completely submissive to the overnemtn and their appointed roles in which they are specifically created to fill within society.
