Shane Colin
Hey, last year, I decided to take a transition year at EDR. Indeed, it allowed me to gain experience and I had the chance to meet new people. I really liked this year because I was interested in every lesson I attended to. EDR’s curriculum is very complete especially in the engeneering, the law and the medical sector. Even if my transition year was a little expansive, I don’t regret my choice because I have broaden my horizons and I got more confident ! If you can you should do a transition year at EDR 😊.

Andrew Smith
Hello everyone 😁 !
Thanks to the transition year I spend last year at EDR, I was able to discover the world of work and to challenge myself during the differents internships I did. My career adviser helped me to choose all of my work placement so I learned a lot about my futur job, my orientation. Moreover, this extra year brought me great opportunities so I think it will be easier for me to work in the factory I always wanted to work in. A month ago, I returned to school and I forget a little part of what I learned two years ago but it really worthed it, I recomand you to enroll EDR’s transition year too !

A work placement is an unique oportunity so you have to choose it right.
You might be aware of your skills but also challenge yourself and don't be scared of asking to high expectations company even if a small company provides equally valuable work experience opportunities but there can be differences in the type of work you’ll have to do.
It's always easier to like an intership when you are in a field you're interested in but don't go too far of your house.
You need to be autonomous at this point to look outside of your close social environment and send e-mails to company or apply your resume.
Choose by your talents and hobbies, it's really important to enjoy the intership.
You'll spend 1 week in the company so you have to becareful with your choice.
