All of my friends have helped me in some way, and they have always been there for me when I needed them and when I didn't. Everyone in 804, Diana, Manija, and the entire class in general. Those who are not affiliated with the school or are in 6th-7th grade. They are very special to me.

Most of my teachers had an impact on me, and I am grateful for them. From sixth to eighth grade. I wasn't always the best student before middle school, but each teacher I had changed my perspective on education. Mr. Briggins opened my eyes to social studies, which I used to despise and never understood; I am grateful for that. Ms.Nuzzo made the class enjoyable; she understood how we felt, and despite the fact that she was not a student, she worked hard to understand our point of view and to assist us when we needed it. Ms.class G's was challenging in some ways; in that class, I had to work hard to maintain my grades; I appreciate that she made it difficult; nothing beats a challenge.

A couple of friends that have helped me get through the school year was Brenda, because I knew no one in the beginning of the school year and she was probably the only one I knew for a while and we've become closer throughout these few months. I've known Michel for three years and this is probably the year where we were able to connect more, especially since learning remotely, she was the only one who would check with me, and submit the homework so I didn't have to do it first because I was scared of getting a low grade and failing. I've known Alfredo for three years as well since music magnet and first came off as weird to me but I never knew we would be such great friends to this point. He is always annoying me to a point where I want to yell at him but he is a great walking buddy, dunkin/starbies partner, and great friend when I needed him to be (if he tried to be nice for once) Tendry and Yelena are and were my best friends as well since 6th grade, ever since Tendry was sick and I held his lunch for him until he came back to school, or when I helped kill the cockroach that came home with him lol, and Yelena sat with me during lunch, we had school projects to do, and went shopping. In general, I believe 804 cohort A was a good impact for me because I originally wanted to learn remotely but I'm extremely glad I didn't learn online because I was able to receive as much as a middle school experience as I can. For my teachers, Mr.Chiarello is the first teacher I would love to thank because I am extremely grateful for meeting him. I knew of him for a while because the process my brother went through for the music magnet. I originally started out as a flute going into the sixth grade but I decided to start playing tuba. I got into the symphony orchestra at the spring concert of 6th grade and I started playing the trumpet for jazz band in winter 7th grade. We never got to play any of our instruments throughout 8th grade except for my high school audition tape. Mr.Chiarello was one of the only teachers that helped me through the application process, as well as helping me choose the audition tape for the hundreds of times I've attempted to complete the tape perfectly. He is the reason, besides academics, that I got into LaGuardia and Fort Hamilton and I can't be thankful enough for his help and assistance throughout middle school. I would like to thank Ms.Nuzzo for making ELA a better experience then most, and being the teacher this year that let us stay after school hours. Mr.Briggins, I'm letting you know, I hated social studies before you became my teacher. You make SS fun, exciting, mysterious, I never know what's going to happen in this class and 7th period would not be the same without you. #yourdog (I forgot the name) and #unjustwhenIhadmyhandupfirstandyoudecidetocallonsomeoneelse. One teacher I would especially like to thank is Ms.Gasidzhak because she made this school year as normal as possible compared to most teacher. She may not be the most fun or laugh-worthy teacher, but her seriousness and intimidating strategies was what made us turn on our cameras which most teachers don't do, and she made us copy notes, IN A NOTEBOOK; I don't remember the last time that happened. Her classes were more challenging and algebra was more difficult as the year went on.
