This object resonates with my culture and with who I am. I keep this object in my room and it always reminds me of my roots. People get on a rikshaw to travel to places locally. I went on the rikshaw 3 times and although its very fun, its not as safe because the doors are open! She used to drink her cafecito while smoking her tabacco.

My mother migrated to the US, with the goal of bringing her 5 year old daughter and her mother.

My mom was able to bring my older sister and her mother. Thankfully, she accomplished those goals after so many economic, personal, and emotional hardships.

Now, my mom drinks her cafesito while she waits for me to come home and visit on Sundays.

I drink my cafesito every morning while I work on the future that I want for my family and I.
