Where the bee sucks, there suck I:
In a cowslip’s bell I lie;
There I couch when owls do cry.
On the bat’s back I do fly
After summer merrily.
Merrily, merrily shall I live now
Under the blossom that hangs on the bough.

This song is Ariel's freedom song. He wants so badly to be free from the thumb of Prospero. He performs all of Prospero's magic and daily tasks. The audience has a hunch that Prospero does not possess any real magic, but instead uses Ariel. Everyone thinks Shakespeare is disguising himself as Prospero, but perhaps he is Ariel? He wants to be free from the tyranny of being a playwright. He wants to live merrily and be relaxed.

Come unto these yellow sands,
And then take hands:
Curtsied when you have, and kiss'd
The wild waves whist,
Foot it featly here and there;
And, sweet sprites, the burthen bear.
Hark, hark!
Bow-wow.
The watch-dogs bark.
Bow-wow.
Hark, hark! I hear
The strain of strutting chanticleer
Cry, Cock-a-diddle-dow.
Full fathom five thy father lies;
Of his bones are coral made;
Those are pearls that were his eyes:
Nothing of him that doth fade,
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange.
Sea-nymphs hourly ring his knell:
Ding-dong.
Hark! now I hear them—Ding-dong, bell.

In Act I, Scene II of The Tempest, Prospero commands Ariel to lead the shipwrecked Ferdinand to him. Ariel sings the song on the left to make Ferdinand follow his sweet voice. Ferdinand had thought his father, Alonso, had died in the shipwreck. But, this isn't true as Alonso and his crew are searching for Ferdinand.

Stephano is on a drunk rampage and talking of silly things. But, who does this undesired Kate resemble? Miranda is desired by Ferdinand. Caliban, Trinculo, and Stephano are close. It really is not a super meaningful song, but it gives us a good understanding of how Stephano is. He drowns his feelings with liquor. Maybe he is Kate, the undesirable women.

The Tide is High by Blondie. This song would be played at the beginning of the play when everyone is in the storm at sea. Prospero and Ariel created the storm. This song would be placed here because the tides were high, but they were still holding on.

Blue Jeans by Lana Del Rey. This song would be placed at the moment in the play when Miranda and Ferdinand met. "I will love you till' the end of time. I would wait a million years," is a line in the song. I think it makes the romantic theme of the play stand out.

Africa by Toto. In the play, Alonso is looking for his lost son, Ferdinand. The line "It's gonna take a lot to keep me away from you," in the song exemplifies the search for the lost son.

Money,Power,Glory by Lana Del Rey. I feel like this song is perfect for showing the competitive nature of Alonso and Prospero. They want to rule Milan and have money, power, and glory.

Alright by Kendrick Lamar. This song would be the ending song of the play. Everyone gains peace and happiness at the end. "We gon' be alright" is the ultimate lyric.
