This book is like a library of music element and the way how musician creates amazing artworks for us. Ratliff gave us very reasonable example for each elements he wrote about. The way he thought of music was really interesting and new for young listeners like me. By reading this book I think I know more about music element and how can we define a good music. The Book has about 20 chapters, where Ratliff talked about 20 different music elements with interesting example and great information. However, the most interesting aspect that I like in this book is "Transmission". According to Ben Ratliff, it is a motion which is given by the musician and received by the listener. And how the musician is giving more than they need to perform to audiences is an act of transmission. I think it's similar to passion and the power that musicians have to make the best performance. Moreover, according to Ben Ratliff, the state of transmission is an extreme form of emotion in music that transcends specific mood. This element  sounds really simple but I think it's the most complicated and important one. For Ratliff, He thought "Linking" could be shapes and motion a musician or a band or composer made to achieve the condition of music. But I have different opinion, for me linking is just as simple as linking the music itself to normal activities. Like I always have more energy and forget about the pain when I go to the Gym while I listen to music. Music connect to my mind and some of my EDM workout music like Major Lazer - Know no better, or Numb by Linkin Park. These kind of songs give the more energy to work harder. Ratliff still did a great job in this aspect but I think he made things more complicated this time. I really just understood a little after reading this chapter

Before, I thought listening to music was just simple like listen to music and if it made me feel good then it was a good work. It's a rap that the singer sing for the death of his mother. After losing her he sing for the hurt that she left him. All memories and all the love came to him to every single word of the song. I can feel his pain and I really miss my mom after first heard of this song on Got Talent Global.
