         <title>Desert Eosystems</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br><strong>1. Animals: </strong>Common Ostrich, Fennec Fox, Greater Roadrunner, Desert Tortoise, Caracal, African Wild Dog, Spiny Mouse, Hyena, Meerkat, and Cougar.<br><strong>2. Plants: </strong>Barrel Cactus, Baileya, California Poppy, Parkinsonia Florida,   Tree Aloe, Echinocactus Grusonii, Living Stone, Wollemia, and Olneya.<br><strong>3. Climate:  </strong>During the day the temperature may reach 50°C, when at night it may fall to below 0°C. Deserts have less than 250 mm of rainfall per year. The rain can be unreliable. Most deserts are found between 20° and 35° north and south of the equator.<br><strong>4. Landscape: </strong>It is very dry, little bit of rain, and has a lot of sands and rocks.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>1. Animals: </strong>Zebra, Elephants, Antelope, Bison,<strong> </strong>Loins, Cheetah, Black-Footed Ferret, Beetle, Bowerbird, Buzzard.<br><strong>2. Plants:</strong> Buffalo Grass, Sunflowers, Coneflowers, Blazing Star Plant, Ombu Tree, Lupines, Queen's Anne's Lace, Wild Indigos, Jackalberry Tree, and Elephant Tree.<br><strong>3. Climate:  </strong>Temperate grasslands have hot summers and cold winters. Summer temperatures can be well over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, while winter temperatures can be as low as -40 degrees Fahrenheit.<br><strong>4. Landscape:</strong> Has tall grass, windy, hills, has trees, and looks very open.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>1. Animals: </strong>Poison Dart Frog, Jaguar, Capybara, Orangutan, Gorilla, Cassowary, Elephant, Butterfly, Okapi, and Toucan. <br><strong>2. Plants:</strong> Heliconia, Rubber Tree, Orchids, Caco, Giant Water Lilies, Passion Fruit Flower, Bromelaids, Monkey Brush Vine, Banana Tree, Coffee Plant.<br><strong>3. Climate: </strong> In an average year in a tropical rainforest, the climate is very humid because of all the rainfall, which amounts to about 250 cm per year. The rainforest has lots of rain because it is very hot and wet. <br><strong>4. Landscape: </strong>Has a lot of trees, very hot, a lot of rain, and also have a lot of fruit and animals.</div>]]></description>

Animals: </strong>Hawk, Snowy Owl, Woodpecker, White - Tailed Deer, raccoons, opossums, porcupines, red foxes, birds, insects, and reptiles.</div><div><strong>2. Plants: </strong>Oak, Birch, Beech,<strong> </strong>Lichen, moss, ferns, wildflowers, maple, magonila, and sweet gum.</div><div><strong>3. Climate:</strong>The average temperature of the forest is about 50 degrees F. The average amount of rainfall in the forest is 30 to 60 inches a year. As the seasons change, so do the colors of the leaves of the deciduous.<br><strong>4. Landscape: </strong>Very colorful during the seasons, has a lot of trees, mammals, birds, and insects.</div>]]></description>

Animals: </strong>Acorn Woodpeckers, Jack Rabbits, Mule Deer, Coyotes, Alligator Lizards, Praying Mantis, Horned Toads, Ladybugs, Honeybees, and insects.<br><strong>2. Plants: </strong>Some examples of plants in the chaparral are toyon, chamise, poison oak, scrub oak,Yucca and other shrubs, trees and cacti. The maquis contains plants such as myrtle,hawthorn, and broom. The Australian mallee is more open than these other types of chaparral and consists mainly of dwarf eucalyptus trees.<br><strong>3. Climate:</strong> (Mild, wet winters and hot dry summers) and wildfire, featuring summer-drought-tolerant plants with hard sclerophyllous evergreen leaves, as contrasted with the associated soft-leaved, drought-deciduous, scrub community of coastal sage scrub, found below the chaparral biome.<br><strong>4. Landscape:</strong> Very green, has hills, mammals, insects, and birds.<br><br></div>]]></description>

Plants: </strong>Arctic Moss, Arctic Willow, Bearberry, Caribou Moss, Diamond-Leaf Willow, Labrador Tea, Pasque Flower, Tufted Saxifrage, and, Salix arctica. <br><strong>3.Climate:</strong> Tundras are among Earth's coldest, harshest biomes.<br><strong>4.Landscape:</strong> Tundra ecosystems are treeless regions found in the Arctic and on the tops of mountains, where the climate is cold and windy and rainfall is scant. Tundra lands are snow-covered for much of the year, until summer brings a burst of wildflowers.</div>]]></description>
