Digital portfolios make storage and documentation of student work easy, students can reflect on their learning over time, students can share their learning with the world, and overall creates a sense of ownership over the students' accomplishments.

Teachers and schools can choose what fits their needs best. At my current school setting we aren't using any digital portfolio or classroom sites. I think a site geared toward elementary like Seesaw or Class Dojo would work well with all of our students, as we are special education and I think simple is better in this case.
