Randy and his sister went to go buy a Disney themed salt and pepper shaker for their parents. When they were leaving the shaker dropped and it broke and Randy was in tears. A adult guest at Disney saw them and she said "take it back to the store, I'm sure they will give you a new one". The following years Randy's parents would visit Disney again and again, they even bought a 22 passenger bus to bring students who have English as their second language to visit the park. Not just gratitude, but disbelief. My sister and I left the store completely giddy. When my parents learned if the incident, it really increased their appreciation of Disney World" (167). 
Randy was in shock because he did not expect Disney to give them another salt and pepper shaker because he dropped. He admits it was his fault. This kind action made his parents appreciate the service of Walt Disney more.
