For the first quotation,  blood is as essential to a person as it is with the thoughts and the mind. For the second quotation, blood makes up a person and therefore their connection to humanity. It also seems to draw forth that people are bound to speak up for their freedom. For quotation five the author mentions that thoughts are like a torrent of blood, people can be overcome by it. Lastly, for quotation six,  the struggle for freedom may become an animalistic urge inert in all humans.
