The NHS has been effective for the public who couldn’t cover expenses, however for workers it is not that beneficial. Many aim to move into private clinics to avoid being overworked, and a higher salary. Many workers do not plan for a long term job with in the NHS.

Yes it is effective because
I think that it has saved lives as people
Like in poverty have not had to pay as its free to men and
Women. This free healthcare has increased life expectancy

I think the NHS is effective because of the large amount of people it benefits which reduces death rates and increased life expectancy. However, there is a surging amount costs and pressure.

No it is not effective as it can be overused by people that don’t take care of themselves such as smoking or obesity. Maybe if there was private healthcare they would think before they hurt themselves and used up the NHS’s resources.

The NHS is very effective at improving public health. There are many examples like before pre 1948 8 million people had never seen a doctor therefore that was a start. The life expectancy has increased significantly through new technologies and focuses (5 a day and no smoking on public places)

However, it is not fully effective as the doctors are being overworked which leads to longer waiting lists.
