In Florida, I held a baby sea turtle, went to Universal studios, and  went parasailing at Cocoa beach.  My sister, mom, aunt and I went to a Keith Urban concert. With my dad we went to round lake , and stayed in a cottage. I first traveled to Holland, Michigan for some Great Lakes fun! Then I explored the greatness of Seattle, Washington where I visited Pike Place Market, ate Seattle’s famous Crab Buns and Clam Chowder, rode the Bremerton Ferry, visited museums and Navy ships, indoor sky-dived, saw the military base my late grandfather worked in, and met his family for the first time! Then I traveled to Canada where I reunited with one of my cousins from Yemen who was able to escape the war and he was granted asylum. I visited Niagara Falls, and enjoyed many activities with my family. This is a 5-day camp in DuQuoin, IL just for kids with limb differences. Kids and adult coaches with limb differences come from all across America for this camp every summer. Three days later my sister Caroline and I went to camp with cousins Anna and Laura. It was great! Also this summer my family and I moved into a bigger house. A few days after school ended, I got news that my family was moving to a new house! I was glad we were not moving far, in fact, we only moved down the road. Then, I went to Boston where I walked the freedom trail and played golf with my dad and his family. After only a few days home, I went to Florida for the 4th of July. By the time we came back it was time to move into the new house! After getting unpacked, we visited friends up north. I was so excited to learn to water ski on that trip!! Next came my favorite day of the year, my birthday (and my sister’s) on August 1st! A week later, my family took another trip to South Carolina and we learned a lot of history about Fort Sumter and Charleston! It was a great summer filled with all of my favorite things - golf, history, the beach, swimming at the pool, and spending time with my friends and my family!

So this summer I actually ended up going to 3 different waterparks. I started the summer by joining my aunt and uncle for his family’s yearly trip to Schlitterbahn which is in New Braunfels, Texas. Then before moving to Michigan I also went to the Sea World Waterpark I’m San Antonio, Texas. Shortly after moving here I went with my dad and stepmom to Cedar Point Shores in Sandusky, Ohio. That’s me coming down one of their awesome water slides (yellow)! 
In the beginning of August I spent 3 days going to baseball camp at Michigan Baseball field which was so much fun! I got to meet the Michigan head baseball coach and even some of the players. I learned more about baseball, got to participate in competitions, and ended the week on the field sliding down a huge slip ‘n slide!
