Most of the time the students only fill in the stars. If it's 4 or 5 it's good, but sadly even for they who filled in 2 or 1 didn't provide anything in the feedback part so it's useless at that point

There will always be room for improvements, and these evaluations, if done right and received well, can improve teaching and learning process

I am OK with that because that something that can I consider for my self improvement. however some feedback is just not true about what is real in the class. For example some students just use it to attack lecturer because of their mistakes

I'm annoyed if there are low stars but without explanation. What am I supposed to do or how to improve if there is no feedback. And I'm someone who opened the evaluation every week so I tend to get annoyed every week

I usually tell students that I check evaluation weekly, so they can put anything they want me to improve.

Find out more about the situation from students point of view, and change/revise the teaching strategy if this should be the solutions.

Hmm, generally I explain the reason of why I do the approach that the class don't like. And how it would benefit them in future and ask their opinion if they have different approach in order to achieve the goal I have for them. It is harder in larger class though

For the course evaluation, it's pretty helpful to understand the students need. However if it was something on the final, then we can only apply it to next year, this is a drawback. Also sometimes it is not accessible to students

Sometimes they protest because the changes are implemented to the lower cohort but not them. So they feel a bit envious. And vice versa
