Genetic Factor

My curly hair is a genetic factor that makes me. My dad is adopted but his birth mom has curly hair and so that is how I have my curly hair. It can sometimes be hard because no one on my dad's side of the family or my mom's side of the family has curly hair like me. But it is ok because I wouldn't trade it for the world.

A positive thing about our environment is that we live in beautiful North Idaho. I am so grateful for this amazing place we get to call home and the fact that most people don't get to live in such a beautiful place like this. Living in north Idaho has impacted my mental health so much and for the good that I am so grateful for.

One thing that has negatively impacted my physical environment is the fires. Here in north Idaho, we tend to get a lot of fires from all of the brush and up in the mountains. The fires impact not only our physical surroundings but also the smoke. I struggle with asthma so having all the smoke in the summers blowing in from other places can be hard to deal with at times.

My best friend Claire is a very positive person in my life. She helps me with everything and so much more. We both enjoy swimming together and wouldn't trade it for the world. We both enjoy hanging out together and doing things we love most, whether going and getting coffee, going on hikes, going to the lake, or a photo shoot.

Being a part of my local church family has helped me in many ways. It makes me feel so much better and I have gained so many new friends that are followers of Christ. They have helped me in my journey as a follower of Christ as well.

A positive technological thing in my environment is the bible app. The Bible App helps me to stay connected to God's word every day and to be fulfilled in him. getting a daily bible verse from the app helped me to go throughout my day seeking the Lord.

Something that impacts my technological environment would have to be social media. I feel like social media can be so controversial in so many ways. I tend to find myself on social media too much and I feel like I don't get very productive in the day. So I'm working on staying off of my phone and so social media negatively impacts me^.

Competitive swimming has been a huge thing for me that positively impacts my lifestyle. It has taught me to discipline myself and how to work with a team grow with others and so much more. I am so grateful for swimming and after every practice, it makes my day so much better even if it was a really hard set. Swimming has been one of the best things for me and to better myself for the good.

Something that I have always struggled with is time management so not getting things done. Or even prioritising not very important things over other important things. This has always been a hard thing for me that I am still working on to this day to make myself a better person.

Spending quality family time with my family impacts them but also me. My family is a huge part of my life and they are very much something that I care about. Without my family idk who I would be today. When we all get together and spend quality time everyone is happy and crazy. It affects all of our mental health for the good.
