When my mother was pregnant with her though, I was furious. I didn't want a sibling; I didn't want anything to change. Now that she's in my life, it has changed for the better because I always have someone there for me. I choose my sister to interview because I already interview her every day after she comes home from school. When she doesnt stop me, I can talk for hours with her asking about her day, and telling her about my problems. We tell each other everything and that is a relationship I don't have with anyone else.

While that is true to some extent, she is very much her own person. I may not always approve of her choices, but she takes risks that I might not have the nerve to take. Even though I’m older, there are some things I can still learn from her. I can also see how she looks up to me which can be a little nerve racking sometimes. While i'm no way perfect I want to be a good example.

Behind the scenes was a lot of laughter and arguing such as telling each other we both sounded horrible on the recording and redoing it.  I also learned a couple things about her preparing for next year from this interview. I'm very excited for her to start a new chapter in her life just as I do for college. I can't wait to see her grow in highschool and figure out what hobbies she really enjoys.

I know all I can do is be there for her and help guide her through. I'm excited for her to grow up and have new experiences but I also need to stop and enjoy the ones we have together now. I have to cherish her being still somewhat young before she thinks she's too cool for me. I will always though be thankful for having a sister.
