Her aspirations are admirable, and it is great how she is a strong women of ambition, which are the things that will allow her to reach her goals. The goals in itself will be difficult to achieve, due to the fact that she is an African American - but also because she is a women. In the society they live in there is lack of fairness and equality; most people of color were not given the same opportunities as the white community. Not only that, but it was not common for women, especially women of color, to be doctors. With racism and prejudice being the fault in her choice of work, it is possible for her to achieve. It is realistic, but it will be very difficult - however, if she continues to have strength and strong ambition, then that is what will help her reach her dream. In the end, I do not think she will have reached her dream just yet, since it is such a long battle. Also due to her age - she is young, and is still trying to learn about her identity. By the end of the play, her dream might have changed.
