The biggest effect, which many believed after the witch trails occurred, was that the twelve girls were able to accuse anyone and possibly have them hanged. These people ranged from individuals who could possibly cause harm the town to people that the girls just didn't like at all. However, the girls weren't the only people accusing someone for no reason.
