Volunteering is a great way to meet new friends as well as strengthen existing connections with faculty members and classmates. As a volunteer, I typically interacted with people from diverse backgrounds, which allowed me to learn other perspectives.

It often feels good to contribute to projects and organizations that mean something to you. These good feelings helped me lessen the effects of stress, or anxiety in my life.

I've currently met with my student 2 times, we had a introduction day where we introduced ourselves and have had 1 lesson plan so far but not a full lesson.

My student loves to read and pick out a new book each time, funny, the manger of reading partners is very helpful.

I would like to work on not have to ask for much help and be on top of the plan for the day

I'm hoping to do a full lesson plan this week.

1.) Collecting books is very helpful not only for me but for the children that will be receiving the books, because I get to read my children the books before bed time and then get to donate them later.

2.) providing books for children is helping them advance their literature skills.

3.) Helps the kids that wants to read but doesn’t have books to read.

Two things I want to work on is

1.) being more organized

2.)managing my time better.

One thing I hope for next week is to collect at least 15 books

I hope to find interesting materials that may catch some of the students interest.

I hope to make time to make it to at least 2-3 Reading Partners Program.

I also still aim to bring books at the end of the program.

I hope to get caught up on all my classes by next week. (This is a must)!

This project gave me the motivation to make books my personal goal to focus more on what books is for.

2:

It made my search for children books a chore for helping the next generation get better at being independent in learning to read.

3:

Gathering children books gave me a great understanding why helping them is very important. It is also developing the skills to teach children about how important it is for them to read more.

WORKING ON MORE

I am creating more interactive learning myself by searching for books and working on finding books for myself to read more.

2) I enjoy actually being able to help kids out with the opportunity to pick a books after the help with there's reading partners. I would love to work on collecting more books.
