As demonstrated in the source Wind Power is one of the cheaper alternatives while also being one of the most efficient. Cost is always a controversial topic, of any establishment or project. However, when making energy it is always best to save money and find a good way to make it. Electricity produced by wind is the most efficient and one of the cheapest ways to make energy, being at 97 dollars per MWh (Megawatt-hour) compared to 221 dollars per MWh as the most expensive and 66 dollars per MWh as the cheapest (Source F). Although wind energy wastes the smallest amount of energy, it is not the cheapest one. There is a big difference in cost for different energy producers, a difference of 31 dollars between the cheapest energy producer and wind energy producers. To some it may not look like much but even a difference of one dollar is expensive, and people are to consider the cost carefully. Residents of each community pay for their energy, some finding this expensive. The working class works to be able to pay their bills, part of the bill is an energy bill. When energy is too expensive, some are not able to pay it and get no energy. For people to receive energy people are to make sure they are using the best way to make energy and the most affordable one. The price of energy producers matters and should be discussed before establishing an energy producer such as windmills. The damages or problems a wind farm can cause to a community can cost and increase the price of wind made energy. Although the cost may not seem like much at first, if the windmill does not work out as planned, it can be a lot more expensive.
