Pattern Recognition - Recognizing patterns of the tiles and what you have available to play.
Allocating Resources - Because this is a points driven game, players should strategically decide on where to play based on points earned.
Strategy - Try to outwit your opponent, plan ahead, and "see" the space.
N-effect - This game is for 2-4 players so the competition is smaller for optimum engagement.
Completion Achievements/Points - Get a Qwirkle by correctly completing a line of 6. 12 points per Qwirkle.
Leaderboards/Scoring - Keep track of points.

Revised Content Below
Action Language - The only action language is the noting of "Qwirkle". This tends to get the attention of the other players. Action language is moderate in the use of the game.
Assessment - Scores are kept for each player. This is an important feature of the game! It determines the winner.
Conflict/Challenge - Players are in competition with other players to get the most points. The board is changing with each player's turn so it's never the same and as a player refills their tiles, it's continuing to change. This is an important feature of the game.
Control - Each player has control of where they place their tiles. They do not have control of their opponents movements which can often be frustrating! This feature is important in the game.
Environment - This game is low in it's environmental cues. The game story doesn't have a physical location.
Human Interaction - The game itself if a board game. So the human interaction piece comes from the players someone plays with. This is moderately important in this game.
Immersion - This is not a part of the game.
Rules/Goals - Rules are clearly stated and constant. The ultimate goal is to get the most points. The rules are important to this game.
