Scarlett was originally named Pansy, but was later changed after the publishers requested a name change.
Speaking of publishers, Margaret wasn't planning on publishing it at all.
She had written the book out of boredom.
In the 10 years she was writing, no one.
Not even Margaret knew what happened with Rhett and Scarlett.

My answer to this is that maybe Cherry felt bad for the greasers and thought of them as people too, you aren't born acting like a greaser or a soc, you're just born into one of those labels.

In chapter 6 during the rescue from the burning church, the text says "Johnny wasn't behaving at all like his old self" (92). This quote directly shows that Johnny has changed. In conclusion, this evidence proves that Johnny is a dynamic character.
