Educators can create lessons and assignments that requires students to write or talk about their cultural backgrounds and how it has shaped their perspectives.

Integrating multicultural context and worldviews to allow students to have open discussions about different worldviews and perspectives.

Activating students' prior knowledge and building on what they have learned and encourage them to share what they have learned and their perspectives (Gocke, 2025).

Encourage students to share about themselves and their cultural backgrounds will help students to feel included while the other students learn about other cultures around the world.

How an educator sets up their classroom can make a huge impact on how students learn and build relationships. The teacher should make the setting arrangements in a way that builds diversity and inclusiveness.

Hosting a family engagement activity at the school such as multicultural night will encourage students to share about themselves and their families

Keeping an open line of communication with the families is important to keep families involved and in the know about all upcoming events and opportunities for volunteering.

Creating opportunities for parents and families to get involved with their child such as field trips will encourage family involvement.

Schools should also provide the proper resources for families that will better support them and their child. Family and community engagement will open doors for many opportunities for students and their families.
