Augmented reality has been used in different walks of life since 1962. What are the benefits and drawbacks of using it in education? Should we teach students how to use it? How likely is it that AR is just a fad that will soon disappear? Or is it here to stay and completely change our view of reality?

If you don't use it, it doesn't mean you can't teach anything but it means you are a boring teacher  I must admit that I try my best to use web tools and I know that I am not the best teacher right now while using it, but even it is enough for my students to be more eager to learn and enjoy my lessons. • Olga Dasoura: When I first saw GOOGLE GLASS I was impressed. It was amazing. It goes beyond my imagination. I find it is very innovative. You wear it and it can take a video or a photo, it can give you so much information about the real world you are living in. It can be a life companion. Though, I see some disadvantages in using it. Personally speaking, I wouldn't use it and I'd choose an alternative divice. I have a feeling that it would disturb me from my communication in the real world.   Work, home, family, internet is not always at the most, problems with devices ... and last but not least, fever and cold ..... it is very difficult to prove all apps in so little time.

  I will try to encourage other teachers to use it in their subject so as to encourage cross curricular activities. AR is very engaging and our students already use it in games, so I do not see why one should not use it in education :)

As a biology and nature teacher I will use Colar cell painting and I will suggest my colleagues who works with younger children to use the other drowings. They are really fun! For chemistry teachers daqri is - must have and use! However I still have to work on aurasma and onvert. I am a little bit late, so I will leave that for later!
