Or her younger life could have taken her mind, when she was walking with her friends, laughing on mall floors. When she could freely travle to the movies. Buttered popcorn.

Her mind could also be a photo album. The pictures don't have to be of just her family, but it could be a picture of a symbol. The pictures can be in tip top shape or run down and blurry depending on how well she remembers it.

I don't know if minds can be represented like time capsules b/c I don't think memories ever stay. Time capsules hold things that represent a significant hold, or  an object representing history from a more objective side. Humans can all remember different things in their own way. She has a very sharp mind and still enjoys studying math. If Ms. Tanaka's mind was a time capsule, it would be full of trinkets and small letters, old books and photographs, and many other things that may seem useless to the average person but to her mean the world. Everything that changed from 1903 to 2020 and older models and outdated versions of everyday items would be in the capsule, capturing how she has seen the world change. Pictures of people she has met and awards she has won would be in there and the memories of over a century on this earth would leave no space vacant for a single other thing, but I'm sure she keeps filling her mind capsule with knew memories.
