We are children, we should be feeling safe in any community. I just think about my own family and how we could be targeted as well. But I don't understand why police or any federal government think this is ok. This distrust in the system happened becaus of bystanders. Luckily they're was someone there to see if not none of us would know. He put his hands up because that is what we believe we should do and nothing will go wrong. That poor angel was shot and he put his hands up and that is upsetting. It feels like it is pointless to fight if nothing is changing. We were born differently so what? What I have noticed is that people aren't actually coming together. We see people in protests but the only thing that comes out of it is violence coming from both sides. If we want to solve this problem, we need to sit down and talk. Also, I see races hating each other. I see blacks hating whites, I see latinos hating whites, I see asians hating blacks, I see blacks hating latinos. I think that racism is a very big problem since it's not just targeted to minorities but to everyone. There isn't peace being spread by either community, I only see hate coming from ALL races. We all want to be considered equal, but when we see a white person, we feel scared or insult them in our heads. Instead of taking a step forward, we are taking two steps back. Killing a human being isn't the correct thing, hatred against one another isn't the correct thing. In my opinion, I think that it's not about removing the police force completely and breaking the system, I think it's just about making others understand, educating others. The system isn't wrong, we are the ones who are wrong, the system will always be there, it's just defined by our actions. Making others understand, that power isn't a god, money isn't a god, nothing is a god, hatred isn't right and violence isn't the answer. It gets exhausting and it makes me wonder when will the authorities listen to us and treat us as human beings? Cops have way too much power in their hands, this is not ok. How are you gonna shoot a child? Yeah, he was running away, but there are alternatives to stopping someone who isn't far in range, while running. It's depressing to think about his friends and family who have seen the video of a helpless little boy dying. May God judge and attempt to forgive him, because I'm certain no one else will.

In these moments we should all come together and not fighting against each other because many parents are loosing their children by being murdered to police officers. Police officers are meant to serve and protect us but, what I have been seeing is completely the opposite they aren't protecting us its like if they are trying to get rid of us. As a young uncle I have nephews and nieces that are getting at that age when they are in danger to walk in the streets and being seen as a target to officers. A lot of officers will try to make up an excuse just to stop you and search you. The new generation are growing up to a society that it is not safe for them to walk in the streets that even if they are trying to go to the corner store just to buy a bag of chips. We need to come with a solution to all this hate and police violence because one day it could be one of our family members or a close friend.
