My name is king James I and I am the first puritan king who took over England after the great Queen Elizabeth. I am known for having the bible translated into English for the first time and we called it The King James Bible. One of my biggest successes as ruler was founding Jamestown in the newly acquired lands of America.

Charles I ( 1625-1649)

My name is King Charles I and I believed in the divine rights of kings, which is why the struggles with parliament over religion, governance, and taxation continued. Due to my feud over parliament I decided to dissolve the governed body not just once, but multiple times. However I did not realize that the conflict would escalate this fast, but it did and it resulted in the English civil war in the year 1642.

Oliver Cromwell (1649-1658)

My name is Oliver Cromwell and unlike the other rulers I am truly the best, I am a puritan who was a military leader in the civil war. Due to my greatness I was crowned the Lord Protector, even better I abolished the monarchy and established common wealth. Another great thing about me is that I executed James I for ruling England as a military dictator, and to beat that I led the conquest of Ireland and Scotland.

Charles II ( 1658-1685)

I am Charles II and because of Oliver Cromwell's jealousy of my handsomeness and my royalty blood (I am Charles I son) he exiled me to France. However jokes on him I came back to England and restored the monarchy, which is way better than what Oliver did as a ruler especially since people named it the restoration. I am not going to say I was the best, but I was better than him, I did have problems such as the Great fire of London in 1666 and the resurgence of the black plague. In the end I did some good especially by pursuing the policy of religious tolerance, this helped lots of people and the official document is called the Declaration of Indulgence.

James II (1685-1688)

My name is King James II, and I was the son of King Charles II who had 11 other illegitimate children, my less than handsome/pretty siblings. Due to my religion and other things like jealousy people didn't like me. So, in the end I was overthrown, but thankfully it was peaceful. However, I don't think I should've gotten overthrown because I laid down the foundation for the English Bill of Rights.

William & Mary (1688-1702)

My name is Mary, and I ruled along with my husband William, If I could've have ruled by myself, but women's rights were limited even with the royals. William and I were cousins before lovers, he was a protestant Dutch prince, and I was raised protestant, so we married. We passed the English Bill of Right that limited monarchy, so we truly are the best royals, but I could've done so much more.
