 Friday is derived from Frigga, the wife of Odin representing love and beauty.                                              
I think it's cool how the goddess for Friday is associated with love and beauty. 
I found out Friday is a bad day to voyage but a good day for planting. 
I also found out condemning a slave on Friday is forbidden under Muslim law.
