Tet is a traditional holiday in Vietnam. And this is a picture of Tet at my house last year. Last year during Tet, my family had my grandparents, my parents, younger brother, younger sister and me. In the left corner of the picture, the woman with purple ao dai is my grandma and man with brown ao dai is my grandpa. They talked with my little brother and sister. My grandparents are always very happy and feel peaceful when they are with their descendants. On the right side, that's me and my parents, we wore all wearing ao dai with outstanding colors because we believe it is a lucky thing. I wore a pink ao dai and sat down to help my parents decorate the apricot tree for Tet. On it we hung lucky money envelopes, homemade cards, red parallel sentences, lanterns, etc. On Tet, each family always has a pot of apricot blossoms in the house because apricot blossoms symbolize prosperity: rich and opulent. We were very excited and happy to have a peaceful Tet. In the photo there are two children, 1 boy and 1 girl. Those are my younger brother and my younger sister. My younger brother poured tea for my grandfather. My younger sister told them a story. They were all cheerful and happy.
