Pupils are allowed a first draft which they will then receive back with feedback and a correction code in order to complete the final draft that will be sent to the SQA.</p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>In the SQA Exam Diet pupils will sit exams in Reading, Writing and Listening.          <title>S2 Skills &quot;Adventures Around the World&quot;</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>In S2, pupils have the option of participating in an 8-week cultural journey around the world! We will look at many different cultural aspects such as music, food, festivals and more! Some of the countries we have researched so far include:</p><ul><li><p>Spain</p></li><li><p>Mexico</p></li><li><p>Brazil</p></li><li><p>Germany</p></li><li><p>Japan</p></li><li><p>South Korea</p></li><li><p>Austria</p></li><li><p>France</p></li><li><p>Italy</p></li></ul><p><br/></p><p>During the course, pupils also complete a research booklet and create posters and other different crafts. There is sometimes even some of these countries' food delicacies to sample!</p>]]></description>

         <title>S3 Languages for Life &amp; Work</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>For this course, pupils will have 1 period per week where they study French, German, Spanish or Italian (depending on staffing) in the context of Life &amp; Work. We will cover different topics such as:</p><ul><li><p>Personality and skills</p></li><li><p>Hobbies and past-times</p></li><li><p>Jobs and places of work</p></li><li><p>Future plans</p></li><li><p>CV building</p></li></ul><p><br></p><p>There are 7 key tasks that will be completed throughout the year. Two of these are in English and the other five are in the language. The key tasks incorporate a mixture of reading, writing and listening and the final key task will consist of a spoken presentation in the language.</p><p><br></p><p>Following completion of all assessments, pupils will be awarded with their Level 3 of Level 4 Languages for Life &amp; Work qualification!</p>]]></description>
