My favorite memory from Prairie Partners was either mulching our garden, or getting to meet the raptorial birds up close.

Before I joined this club, I knew prairies were important, but didn't realize how important they really were until I started learning. Even within our small-looking garden, we can already see a whole ecosystem begin to mature. Although our prairie doesn't necessarily have everything a prairie needs, I understand that's what this club is helping with. Thank you Schaumburg Community Garden Club!

I really enjoyed being in Prairie Partners. It was a great club and helped me realize the importance of prairies where we live. Building a prairie right outside made me feel like any average person could make a change and improve our society. Thank you Schaumburg Community Garden Club for donating all of these plants and making a impact in all of our lives!

My favorite memory from Prairie Partners was planting prairie plants. We have prepared for this since September, and it was a lot of fun. Another memorable moment was when we invited Wings and Talons to a meeting, where they showed and explained the birds of prey that they are taking care of. Something that I learned from this club is the amount of Prairie that is left in Illinois. When explorers first found Illinois, 60% of the state was prairie, yet now it covers 1%> of the state. It was nice to be helping the environment and the community, even though our garden not be large enough to make a large impact on the environment.

Overall, Prairie Partners was a great club, and we really appreciate the Schaumburg Community Garden Club for the help.

I enjoyed Prairie Partners because of how much we interacted with kids from Hoover, and my favorite activity was plant pressing.

Thank you so much for helping us, Schaumburg Community Garden Club! My favorite part about being a mentor in Prairie Partners was when we pressed plants. It was such a fun way to learn about prairie plants and also to make something to remember about my time in prairie partners!

Thank you so much for supporting Prairie Partners! It has been amazing to mentor the 5th graders this year and learn more about the parties themselves. Being able to learn how a prairie should function, and then apply what we learned into a real prairie at hoover was a wonderful experience which sparked an interest in Earth sciences.

My favorite memory from Prairie Partners was actually planting the plants, as we were making a true and physical impact in the conservation of prairies. Being part of this club made me realize just how important and difficult it is to keep an environment safe and healthy on our dear planet. It has been a great time learning and working alongside fellow mentors and men-tees! Thank you so much, Schaumburg Garden Club, for supporting our club and making our efforts come to fruition!
