         <description><![CDATA[<p>I see Social, Physical, Language and Emotional development. </p><p><br/></p><p>Social: The way they are interacting with other people, everyone talking to each other. Sharing sleds. Communicating before they start sliding. Children being proud of themselves because they are sliding on their own. </p><p><br/></p><p>Physical: they are sliding and walking back up the hill. Sliding having balance. Holding on to qisik. Children learning how to control the sled when sliding down. Picking up the qisik by their own. </p><p><br/></p><p>Language: They are talking while sliding or when it’s their turn. Instructor letting them know how it’s suppose to be done before they start. </p><p><br/></p><p>Emotional: most of them are smiling or laughing which means they are having fun. All of them are being patient waiting for their turn. One of them being excited to slid down. They are showing they care by waiting for their turn. </p>]]></description>

         <title>Assignment 8 question 2</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The children in the video can climb up and slide by themselves, walk up the hill to slide and turn with their feet so they wont hit any rocks around them. </p><p>In the video, one of the adults is explaining that they used to use the sealskins as slides to clean them, each kids are taking turns to slide as all can’t slide in one slide.</p><p>Before sliding one of the adults explained on how to slide with the skin as if its facing up, the skin wouldn’t go down the hill but when the fur is facing down, that’s how you’d slide down faster and further.</p><p>The adults were helping the kids holding on to the sleds until the kids were safely on the sled, they were also helping them on how to sit on it.</p><p><br/></p><p>Social: children and adults are interacting with each other</p><p><br/></p><p>Physical: they are active outside sliding </p><p><br/></p><p>Emotional: each person is patiently waiting their turn</p><p><br/></p><p>Jolene</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Children are waiting patiently and paying attention while an adult is explaining to the children about using sealskins as sleds. Children are involved from the start where an adult was explaining, to sliding using sealskins and waiting for their turn. Children are so into sliding that they were very absorbed in the activity, children were also interacting with each others and being careful (looking before sliding and children further down moving away). In this activity, the involvement and interaction is great for children as all 5 developments are being used: Social Domain, Physical Domain, Emotional Domain, Cognitive Domain, Language Domain.</p>]]></description>
