         <description><![CDATA[<p>1.  Poodle skirts got their name because of the material that used to make it. It was called poodle fabric and it was sort of hairy and stiff but lightweight.</p><p>2. The dresses worn casually were still more formal and elegant. The shoulders were softened and the corset waists became smaller.</p><p>3. The upswept shape of the glasses were to beautify and accentuate a woman’s face.          <description><![CDATA[<p>1- Barbie- The Barbie was launched late but still 1959. The first Barbie wore a black and white striped swimsuit.</p><p>2- Silly putty- The inventor of silly putty hired college students from Yale to fill the eggs with the putty, just in time for Easter.          <description><![CDATA[<p>1- Elvis Presley Elvis- was a movie star and a rock star.  His first movie was Love Me Tender.</p><p>2- Ella Fitzgerald- Ella Fitzgerald was  a very famous singer who is known as the first Black woman to sing at the Mocambo, the Hollywood nightclub that Marilyn Monroe persuaded the owner to allow her to sing.</p><p>3- Frank Sinatra- was one of the top film starts 1950.
