         <description><![CDATA[<p>A line that stayed with me from Tracy was that “reading theory" is just like reading cookbooks or studying sheet music—will only get you so far.” It made me reflect on how, as a new researcher, I often overthink doing things the “right” way instead of trusting the process. I continue to push myself and learn things that I did could not have imagined on day one of the course. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I can see myself using PIQDA in my dissertation because it allows flexibility and reflection. I like that it doesn’t require having one fixed methodology from the start. As someone who often feels uncertain about “doing it right,” PIQDA gives me permission to explore, make meaning, and grow through the process.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>After working with K-12th students the last couple of years, I have come to realize that the ways my students interpret the space around them and their world is quite different. Oftentimes this slight difference is what causes the misunderstanding with the adults in their lives. Adults’ world has many rules and restrictions that are unsaid. However, kids are expected to know all these nuisances even if their caregivers did not teach them yet. This reading made me reflect on the “ideal” learning environment/schools for all kids. Most of the time the answer is an open space where students are encouraged to explore rather than forced to learn. Yet, many of the current system is the opposite.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p>]]></description>
