Married, we have 4 kids. 2 girls and 2 boys. I am originally from Mexico City, I raised by my grandmother until My mother brought us to  the U.S when I was 4 years old. It was a drastic change, the culture, the language, the food, everything was different. It was definitely a shock that I still remember.
It wasn't until I was transitioning into high school that I realized that we were immigrants, and for the first time I saw obstacles things that my friends would be able to do and I wouldn't. I felt left out for a very long time even though I felt "American"
Through the work that my mother did we were able to become citizens and at 20 I joined the Marine Corps, I lived in North Carolina for the duration of my term and now I am back to Los Angeles currently living in Boyle Heights.
