I started planting my sweet basil seed on 16 Aug 2025. During the process, a ball accidentally hit on the plant and one of the leaf broke. I used a scissor to cut it away so that it will not affect the other plants. Thank you.

I planted the Roselle seeds on 17 August. I watered it and put it somewhere warm for it to germinate. It germinated 4 days later. I learnt that I must be patient while waiting for my seeds to germinate and grow into a young plant. It was a cool experience! It’s so fun! 🤩😎😎

Nine days ago, I planted Sweet Basil seeds in soil. In the first two days, the soil looked empty, I kept it moist. Around Day 3 to Day 4, the first tiny young plant started to break through the soil surface. By Day 5, more seedlings appeared, each with two small sweet basil leaves. Slowly, the seed leaves dropped and I had to place it at a sunny spot.

Now, on Day 9, the young plant are taller and standing more firmly. Their leaves are greener and slightly larger, and the young plants look more lively each day. It feels rewarding to see how quickly they are growing from tiny seeds into healthy young sweet basil. I learned to be more patient when growing plant and have to take responsibility on them.

Ten days ago, I planted some sunflowers seeds in the soil.

The first day, the pot was empty.

The second day, the seed germinated.

The third day, the seed leaves grew.

On the fourth day, it grew into a young plant.

For the following days, it grew taller and taller.Another plant also germinated.

On the tenth day, the plant grew four leaves and the another grew its seed leaves.

Now I know how hard and much patience gardening is.

This is my roselle plant. I started growing this on the 17 August 2025. I remember planting 8-9 seeds with my father. Sadly, only 5 seeds sprouted. I waited patiently for the seeds to sprout. I was shocked when only one sprouted on the forth day. This has taught us to be patient and caring to our plants.

I started to plant on Sunday, 10 August 2025. It started to sprout on day 5 ( 15 August 2025 ). I planted all 15 seeds from the packet. It started to be 2cm long and now, on day 10, it is already 15 cm long! In order for them to balance and not fall easily, I put a stick in the middle of the plant so the plant would be able to stand upright. I learnt that the plant grows very fast under sunlight and daily watering! I am happy to see my plant grow healthily🥰😘

On 14 August I planted rosselle seed, that took about 3 days to grow to a young plant .my house was abit challenging as there is not much sunlight but I was surprised as the plant growled healthily!😁 But sadly some of my seeds did not grow😭.

I started planting my roselles on 19 August. During my planting progress, I learnt that growing a plant is not just about watering it but also understanding its needs , like the right amount if of sunlight and proper care. One of my biggest difficulties was keepong the soil from drying out quickly during hot afternoons. At first, I found it hard to take care of it as I needed to water it daily. Now, I realised that keeping a plant needs patience and responsibility. Over time, my efforts paid off as I began to see healthy green leaves . This experience taught me the true meaning of patience, responsibility and the sastifaction that comes from seeing my hard work grow and bloom.

This is my sweet basil plant! I planted it on 24 August 2025. It sprouted on 27 August 2025. Everyday after school, I would water my plant. I waited patiently as I saw it grow and increase in height. I am glad that I was able to look after it with care and did not let it die. I learnt that plants needs time to grow and plants need air food and water.☺️🌿

I started planting my Roselle on 24/8/2025 .The difficulty i encountered was during potting as the holes in the pot were too big and soil kept dropping out .So, i used another pot with water storage tray for my plant. I watered the plant every morning before i go to school and what excites me most is noticing how much they have grown each day when i came home from school. Looking forward to harvest the Roselle calyces i’ve grown so i can make Roselle tea to drink.

This is my Dwarf sunflower plant. I planted it on 12 August 2025. It sprouted on14 August and it became tall like this on 21 August. When it was 12 August I started to plant. I started off to put the soil inside. Then I spray some water. Next, I dig some holes and put some seeds in. Lastly, I dropped one seed into each holes and covered the holes. I sprayed water everyday in the morning . Until today I'm still spraying water .

I started planting my Dwarf Sunflower on 18 August 2025. On the first day, I saw nothing growing. On the second day, I saw small little things coming out from the seed. It was sprouting! On the third day, the things were growing longer. On the fourth day, it started to grow into a young plant! On the fifth day, the young plant was growing taller! On day six to day eight, it grew taller. I was starting to get excited. On day nine, I saw seed leaves on the leaves. On day ten, the seed leaves dropped of and I placed them under the in a sunny area in my house. It was difficult to water it everyday as I always forget about it but, my siblings always reminded me to water it. Once, I had forgotten about it and could not water it because, I was staying back in school. My older sister remembered about it and helped me to water it. I overcome this challenge by writing a to-do list and checking it by the end of the day. During this activity, I’ve learnt that taking care of a plant is a big responsibility and takes a lot of effort and time. However, I can’t wait to see my sunflower come out!🙂

I started planting my dwarf sunflower seeds on 19 August. On the first day, the seeds didn’t grow. On the second day,it started to sprout.🌱 On the third day, it was starting to grow taller. On the fourth day, it began growing leaves.🍃 On the fifth day, I saw seed leaves on the leaves. On day six, some of the seed leaves had fallen off the plant. I thought it would soon bear flowers. On day nine, my plant grew more leaves and grew taller.🌿 I would often forget to water it . Luckily, my siblings would help me to water it. During this activity, I’ve learned to be patient and calm. I will wait for the sunflower to grow and I will try my best to water it everyday. I hope it can grow into an adult plant and bear flowers soon.🌻🌻

I started growing a Roselle plant on the 23rd August 2025. The seeds were extremely small and I had to hold them carefully when planting. Sometimes, I would forget to check the growth of the plant but now I managed to remember. On Day 10, the seeds had grown into seedlings and were growing healthily. As this is the first time I plant a seed, I am quite happy that I have achieved success.

My plant is a dwarf sunflower. I started growing my plant for a week already. It has grown quite tall so I used chopsticks to support it, so it does not fall. It grows pretty fast. I am excited to see the adult sunflower. It started to sprout around day 2 to 3. I always check every 2 days if the soil was dry and I would water it if it was dry. It is in fact quite fun to watch them grow day by day. I only planted 5 seeds as they were not much space. This is on day 7. I am very very excited to see its final results.(hope u like it)

I planted my Roselle plant on August 27.I learnt that plants need air, food and water to survive. During the process, there were some difficulties, I was not sure if I could grow the seed, but after some effort, I managed to grow a tiny sprout if the Roselle plant. I hope that next time we can do more planting plants activities.

It all started with a tiny seed and to its current state. It has grown so much since day 0. I water the plant in the morning everyday before i go school and it sprout even before i know it!

I started planting my seed on 7th September 2025. I followed the instructions on the box and gave my plant water to drink. I need to make sure I give the plant water everyday. On day 3, the seeds started to sprout. I was so excited! Everyday I went to look at it, it was growing taller and taller. But, I am still waiting for my plant to bloom.
