Grammarly is an extension which you can use to check your student's work for grammar issues and plagiarism. You would ask your students to submit their writing online. You would then upload their submission to Grammarly and it will run a grammar check and provide a printable list for the student to see and understand each mistake they made. It will also compare the submission with texts on the internet and provide a list of sentences or whole paragraphs that have been copied from another work.

Edmodo is a great tool for teachers to stay connected with their students. Edmodo look/operates very similar to Facebook. Teachers can create a group for their class, post a status out to their class letting them know about an assignment, create quizzes, polls, etc. Students can also post to the group if they had a question for their instructor or peers. https://www.edmodo.com/

Quizlet is a website and app that allows students to make flashcard sets and study them where ever they have internet connection. The flashcards that can be made can consist of simply word and descriptions but, users of this app can also add pictures to them as well. Students can also share the sets that they made with their classmates so they can work smarter not harder.

(Andi)Powtoon is a site that allows you to create short animated videos and presentations. This would be a fun tool to use in order to teach students.
