• After Spring Break: Due to limited space and construction in our cafteria/atrium area, lunch visitors will not be permitted. Thank you for your cooperation.

Pre-K Circle Progress Monitoring has begun. Items assessed include letters, vocabulary, numbers, rhyme, syllables, beginning letter sounds, counting, shapes, patterns, social & emotional.

REMINDERS:

• If your child is wearing a sweatshirt/hoodie, please make sure their name is on it. Also, please have them wear a school appropriate T-Shirt under their sweatshirts/hoodies. It is often warm in the classroom when it is cold outside. (No Spaghetti Straps please)

• Please do not bring toys or make-up to school.

• Water bottle (water only). Please make certain it is a no spill cap. Please put your child's name on it!!!

• Healthy (low sugar) dry snack (pretzels, crackers or pre-cut fruit (no liquids or items that need spoon). Snack is early in the day. Cookies and candies are not allowed.

• Please label all jackets, hoodies, sweatshirts, water bottles and backpacks. We have many matching items and we want to get items to their correct child

Friendship Parties: Our Friendship Party will be held on Friday, February 16 at 1:15. Parents are encouraged to attend. Per WME guidelines: To ensure all students receive the same party experience our PTA has planned and organized the logistics (snacks, drinks, decorations, and crafts) for the party. NO OUTSIDE SNACKS, TREATS OR ACTIVITIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. PLEASE DO NOT SEND SNACKS OR TREATS TO SCHOOL WITH YOUR STUDENT. If snacks are brought to school for the Friendship Party, they will be sent to the front office for the parent/guardian to pick up after the grade-level Friendship Party. Parents may sign children out after the party.

PER KATY ISD Policy, to shop at book fair, children must have a signed permission slip.

1. Book Fair Night : Feb. 15 from 5-7 pm-this is when parents can shop with their students

2. If a parent is with the child to buy, they do not need the permission form.

   
   

They will get 3 house points and a prize from the library treasure box.
