    • My perception: 
    It is not the same as virtual reality, however it adopts elements of the concept such as the senses. These are enhanced by the combination of the virtual world and real life.

    • -Snapchat (a social media, picture and video sharing app) you can wear snap chat googles and share videos. this makes it accessible to document and share your experience at any time, for instance skiing!
    • -The Machines - turn your tabletop into a virtual battlefield
    • Euclidean Lands- a game where you can build puzzles
    • Stack AR- block stacking (simple yet effective, perhaps for engineers)
    • L'Oreal (A cosmetic and hair company) uses it to scan your face, apply makeup, which is very useful so you can see if the make up looks good on you. They use it as advertising to get people to buy their products.

    -IKEA allows you to see how furniture looks like
