I used blending modes and adjustment layers to experiment with color and form until something I liked came about. I recently read the book "The Sixth Extinction"by Elizabeth Kolbert, and in one chapter she describes how species may evolve in much more unpredictable ways than previously thought. Even the reasons certain species become extinct and some survive can be almost by chance. Although animals are cute and can be a great companion, they are mortal and does require a lot of care.
