I used the provided assessments by the curriculum. EL assessements were whole group spelling, completed in a writing journal; photos of student work was emailed to me (about 75% of students emailed their work).

Euerka Math assessments were completed in Google Slides. No way to monitor if this was completely student independent work.

Our class began using Kami as a way to do indepenndent work. Kami is used for math and EL assessments. I can see the students drawing, adding comments (text and voice recordings and photos) to documents.

Kami has also been a big help in hearing the students read. Being virtual makes it tough some days to hear every student read. With Kami, I have been able to have the students record themselves reading text aloud. Such a great resource!

At the beginning of the year, my class used Study Ladder as a reading/ELA resource. This resource was teacher appointed, difficult to track progress, and limited student reflection/review of concepts that were not mastered.

We swapped Study Ladder for Lexia. Lexia has worked wonders! Students have fun and are engaged, I get weekly progress reports, students are excited to share their Lexia improvements, and students are connecting their Lexia leaning and sharing their helpful tips with one another in our whole group.
