Insightful - very interesting to read others' perspectives on ethics and their opinions on the various scenarios

Elearning - allows me to complete the tasks at my own pace so it gave me sufficient time to reflect and do critical thinking

Cmap - Took me quite some time to come up with a concept map for the topic on ethics so I found that challenging as well, maybe could use other tools to make concept maps e.g. coggle (online ones can be used for group work so that there will be more peer-learning instead)

I honestly thought the whole CLE was quite challenging, especially the construction of the CMap. I liked the fact that I could do things at my own time and that the daily tasks were manageable. I do wish that I received feedback as I went along though. It was also quite hard trying to get a hold of your group members in an asynchronous learning environment to collaborate.

Hard to judge the distribution of workload over the week, until you explore the entire site (entering activities even before its stipulated time).

Like the asynchronous pace of learning.

Disqus allows additional time to better construct thoughts, maybe a better notification method can be used so that people keep the ball rolling after someone has replied to their comment.

Didn't really like the QR code to access chat function, was in a library and my phone let out a huge "BEEP" when activated.

As it is an online platform done outside the classroom, it allows me to learn at my own time and pace. This is important as I need time to think deeper into the issues discussed before posting my responses.

Scenarios given were short, clear and thought-provoking.

Group discussion on Disqus exposes me to more varied perspectives from my peers, which pushes me to think more critically and challenge my own views.

The activity on Cmap helps me to consolidate and maybe reinforce whatever I have learnt through the week-long programme.

The scenarios were interesting. It stimulates critical thinking. It was good to see different perspectives from different people. Actually I felt that I learnt a lot by reading the discussion boards. However I personally prefer face-to-face discussions. The CMap was a challenge to link up the theories though i find it useful as it helps us consolidate our learning.

Its interesting to learn the new online teaching resources available and how it could be integrated to some of the lessons taught in class. However, the online resources have to be picked cautiously and appropriately to ensure that it comes in handy for students to use them outside of class and home.
I personally enjoy the idea of using Cmap to revise and recap certain ideas, it replaces the usual way of writing or drawing your own concept map.
During e learning, it really gives us the opportunity to work and explore the online tools, putting whatever we have learnt in class to good use. But the load given for elearning class, could lessen a bit as it is quite a lot for an e learning activity.

It was interesting and engaging but it was rather a detailed discussion and since I could not remember all the points about all the various ethics categories in the videos, I just remembered the main points and used those to solve the dilemmas. There was no designated word limit or any other rules so it was more convenient to discuss :)

It was a great platform to discuss controversial topics ( through written words instead of face to face confrontation).

However, the videos were too long, a better way is to cut divide the videos into individual topics on ethics so students can go back and revise that topic if unsure
