First question:
1. We can see at the first picture a lot of poor children sitting with two ladies that are taking care of them and one lady is giving them drinks and the other one is bringing them bread.
2. at the second picture we can see young kids that wearing old clothes and taking care of babies and it seems like they don't have homes or anyone who can really take care of them.

Second question:
The pictures help us understand the poem because we saw that at the first picture the children look more happy,healthy and greatful because someone was helping them but the other picture it was look like all the kids are sick and sad and we can see that no one is helping them.

First picture:We see a black and white picture.There are depressed children that sit crowded and not so comfortable.In the picture,there are two women,one of them has a little pot,the children didnt have enough food.The second  women gives the children potatoes and they take them like wild animals.The picture shows us how much poor the children were.
Second picture:Its also a black and white picture.In the picture,we see a crowded place,the place looks like in Europe.We see a lot children and babies on the street.the picture is fuzzy. The people on the street look sick and dressed poorly,against the people in the houses that look healthy,rich , well dressed and carefree.The picture shows comparison between the statues.
The pictures help us to understand the song better in a few ways:1)We can see the situation and compare beetwen the statuses.2)We see an example of people in need(they live hand to mouth).

First picture:
1.In the first picture we can see an orphan’s house. In addition there are poor children in the orphan’s house - we can see that they are wearing ragged clothes. However the three women (who take care of the children) have expensive clothes.
Furthermore, the women's good deed (giving the children food), makes the children happy  - they are smiling in the picture.
2.This picture helps us to understand the meaning of the poem. It illustrates the main idea of the text that good deeds can make others feel better.


Second picture:
1.In the second picture we can see lots of poor people sitting on the floor with a sad look on their faces. Moreover their shoes are put in the entrance of their houses.
On the other hand there is a person riding a carriage. We can infer that maybe this person is a rich man. If he really is, we can understand that he is a selfish man who doesn’t really care about the poor people that are sitting in front of him.
2.This picture helps me understand the poem. It is an example of what a day without good deeds looks like. We can understand from the picture that the dream of a good world can happen only if people will take action and do good deeds.
