My Early Days

My parents were both teachers at international schools my whole life so we moved around to Slovenia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and Germany. Seeing so many different kinds of schools and spending most of our weekends in them I became fascinated from a young age.

University Days

I came into University knowing that I wanted to be a teacher but did not know what kind, I started at John Brown University and worked in a Montessori school, with this new experience I realized my passion for talking to kids who's first language was not English.

After University

After University I want to be able to teach kinds English as their second language. I want to have a classroom or a space where children feel comfortable being uncomfortable while learning. I know that learning a second language is challenging but I hope to be a teacher that kids do not fear but instead know that I am helping them to succeed in different ways in their life.
