The iconic view on melting watches is the central motif of the most famous Dalí painting – The Persistence of Memory, which is widely recognized and still actual in modern pop culture. Somewhere in the abstract surreal dreamworld of desires based on Catalan landscape and profound meditation on the theme of the space-time continuum. This painting was of great importance for Surrealism movement and for the artist himself, since Dalí has returned to the theme in various media, style and variations - The Disintegration of the Persistence of Memory, Persistence of Memory, the Nobility of Time, the Profile of Time and the Three Dancing Watches.

Link:https://www.widewalls.ch/magazine/surrealist-paintings/salvador-dali-2-1

The figures surrounding the table are Roby’s family. Roby is the gloomy rabbit with red eyes that already started to slice the crocodile and eat it. Roby’s mother is the 3 headed girl who already started to direct her knife onto the crocodile’s mouth. The three head represent the cycle of life; birth, life, and death. Roby’s father has a crab claw head, which symbolize hope of an accomplishment or in other words, prayers that represent the family. He already clamped on the crocodile’s tail and ready to cut it with a knife that he holds in his hand. Roby’s deceased brother is also present wearing a suit. His head is a Lily that symbolizes purity, simplicity and spirituality. The Lily also represents memory and innocence.

Artist: Roby Dwi Antono, (b. 1990) Indonesian pop surrealist Roby Dwi Antono.

Link:https://www.behance.net/gallery/29336947/Januari-di-Utara
http://lobilob.blogspot.com/p/about_26.html

I have always loved the concept of the lotus flower growing from the bottom of the pond, through the mud, and with little light until it finally completes its journey to the surface of the water. During the time of creating this painting, I felt completely submerged in mud mentally and emotionally. I wanted to use those emotions as fuel to inspire my way out of that place. The woman is in a fetal-like position with body language displaying surrender. Her energy is going towards creating something beautiful. Towards making it above the water. And with time, she gradually does.

Artist:Marissa Strickland
Link:https://www.pinterest.com/pin/760404718335511748/
https://marissastricklandart.com/about

Spread the paint – Spread the paint by moving the canvas to let it naturally flow.

Reflection: Fluid art uses an acrylic paint that is more liquid than traditional acrylics. Fluid art paint is easy to make using acrylic paints, acrylic medium, and water. I enjoy the process of moving the canvas by hand and see the flow of paint of different colors. The coolest part of the painting is the thin yellow and blue stripes. If you look carefully, there will be butterflies, dogs, elephants, and snakes. And the white and pink fluctuations on the top are very distinctive and fantastic. Next time, I will try my best to save my painting, at least I should make it consistent with the original appearance. Because some parts of this painting were accidentally damaged, which is different from what I did at the beginning.

Salvador Dalí is the first Marquess of Dalí de Púbol was a Spanish surrealist artist renowned for his technical skill, precise draftsmanship and the striking and bizarre images in his work. About the Canvas Prints Desert (Desierta) - Salvador Dali Painting - Surrealism Art by Salvador Dali.

The reason I chose this painting is that it uses materials from skeleton hands , and the background is a dry desert and a sunny sky. Compare to the object at the back, the skeleton hand occupies a large proportion. The colors of the desert and the sky vary from dark to light, which is layered and gradual.

First I mixed the colors of the pages with dark yellow and brown to prove that it was an old book. Second, I first gave this person's neck, hands, arms and feet with flesh color to do the bottom. In addition, I drew some details on his neck and arm. The character's neck was covered with black blood vessels, much like vines. At the same time, I also painted a rough figure of magma and land. I painted magma in crimson and black and avoided the main organs. I used the brush with a lot of water and brown paint at first, and then I used sponge to put these colors mix smooth together.
