Formative evaluation= assess and give feedback during the&nbsp;<strong>process</strong><br><br>In order for teaching to be effective, we have to:<br>~Make it visual.<br>~Make the abstract concrete.<br>~Encourage repeated practice</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>TEACHING CHARTS:<br></strong>-Students would know <em>how</em> to work if they could just have a list of <em>what</em> to do<br>-records the teaching that has already taken place<br>-<em>The best charts are made collaboratively with students</em><br><br><strong>repertoire chart-</strong> list of strategies that help students work towards a big skill<br><strong>process chart- </strong>&nbsp;breaks the strategy down into the steps that students would take to perform that skill<br><br><strong>How to make a teaching chart?<br></strong>1. "What skill or content am I centering this chart around?"<br>2. List strategies, ways, or steps necessary to accomplish that skill underneath the heading (<em>colorful and clear) </em>in kid-friendly language and icon-rich<br>3. Hang chart in a place where students can see it easily!<br><br><strong>DEMONSTRATION NOTEBOOKS:<br></strong>-A notebook full of lessons and strategies&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
