Pay attention to sentences like “men have to be strong, men don’t cry” “women can’t be scientists or mechanics”,

5.Jobs around me: who is your doctor, nurse, shop assistant in the supermarket, hairdresser, tailor, mechanics, electrician, plumber (ask your family about it), teachers

6. Shops: different sections for girls/women and boys/men, toys shops, sports shops, books shops, jewellery…

In my country, we do not have such a big problem with gender equality, although it is still an issue that we deal with on some occasions. For instance, the percentage of women in politics is not very high.  Also, in ads, women are often shown as just pretty things, not smart and powerful. Another significant issue is that women are expected to do most of the household chores, such as cleaning, cooking, and attending school meetings, while men are not expected to contribute equally. Finally, there is a general perception that women are not capable of pursuing certain professions, such as mechanics or doctors

  

But there are bigger problems around the world too. In some places, like Turkey, women have to wear burqas that cover their faces, and they can't wear what they want. In some countries, women can't own property or get any inheritance. And in some cultures, child marriages are still acceptable, even when the girl is as young as 8 years old. It's really sad.

 For example: A teacher tell off a boy harder than a girl if they do the same thing.

For example, in a dress you can mostly see a woman, but to wear a suit you see more of a man.
