I arrived at Mrs. Gable’s home at 08:15 after she reported an intruder in her kitchen. To my surprise, the intruder was a live octopus sitting inside her sink. There were no signs of forced entry, so the animal likely entered through the plumbing. The octopus was calm but changed color when I approached. I secured the kitchen and called marine experts to relocate the creature safely. Mrs. Gable was shocked but uninjured. I stayed with her until the rescue team arrived to collect the animal. It was certainly the most unusual call of my career so far.

I received a call from a woman who reported a strange situation in her home. She said that she found an octopus in her kitchen sink. I went to her house to investigate. When I arrived, the woman looked surprised but calm. She showed me the kitchen, where I saw a pink octopus dangeling out of the sink. The woman told me she had just come into the kitchen when she saw it. She did not know where it came from. I carefully checked the area and made sure the situation was safe. The octopus was later removed from the sink and taken away safely. At this time, it is still unclear how the octopus got into the house. Further investigation may be needed.
