They have changed drastically as now days, the videos don't have people playing the music anymore whereas previously they did.

This initially did not go well as when I asked people if they could answer questions they didn't have the time to stop and answer, or they just didn't want to. From this I found that this wasn't the best and most reliable way to gather data, as it isn't a consistent way that I can gather data for my projects. However from this I did go out again the next day with my team and decided to gather more information. From this we managed to gain two more students opinions and two elderly people in the town and they managed to give us good data. From this I have learnt that the demographic that I am targeting my research towards depends on the time and day if I want to get reliable data.
My 1:1 interview went very well, as the person that I asked gave very detailed responses to the questions that I asked. This was because it was somebody that I knew fairly well and they were more comfortable answering questions in front of me than random people from the general public. I managed to gain more qualitative data from this research format than quantitive as I asked open ended questions that would allow the respondent to give me detailed answers. This is helpful as when it comes to me collating my ideas I can listen back to this format and see what they personally think should be included to make a music video relevant.
The questionnaire that I posted online and asked people to answer didn't get many responses, as most people don't have the time to stop and sit a questionnaire, however the data that I gathered was good as I managed to count up factual evidence of what the majority of people asked thought of my questions, which helps as I can use this data to sway decisions that I make later on.

This was done in a class discussion on music videos and how they are created, and we had to answer some questions and give feedback on what we thought about music videos in 2017. 
After this we had to g out into Harlow town and conduct primary research in the format of a box pop on what people thought about music videos. This didn't go as well as planned as when we went out there, people didn't seem to want to answer our questions. We asked people and spoke to them seeing if they had the time to stop and answer our questions however they didn't seem to want to.
To change this and to gather better data in the future, I will probably have to change the way I approach people in the town. Before I was asking to see if people had the time to answer a few questions quickly, however I need to make sure that I mention that is for a college project, and people will be more likely to answer my questions. throughout the rest of the week, we looked at different techniques used in music videos and their definitions, and how we can use them in our video to make them more interesting. Today my targets were to complete the work that I needed to catch up with for Delta's lesson and make a start on the work for Leila, however due to the computers being slow today I didn't manage to finish all of the music video styles over the weekend.
